Jose Luis Menescardi

Jose Luis Menescardi was born in the city of Ramos Mejía, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He married the love of his life, Sabrina, in 1990. Later, he started a family in 1991 with the birth of his son, Kevin, and a year and a half afterward, of his daughter, Denise. Family was always Jose’s priority in life, and no one made him happier and full of love than his wife. 

Everyone who knew Jose Luis knew the master craftsman that he was. His ability to build with his bare hands rival the work Hephaestus. Anything that could be built by a man alone, he could do. No party or friendly gathering could proceed without showcasing a new home renovation or house project. What he touched; he did with love. 

Friends and family will remember him for the good heart that he had and the fond memories of so many parties' past midnight. In particular, many will remember the party in the ferry in July 2014 when Jose Luis, his family and many of his friends drank so much tequila that we had to fall back on the alcohol provided by the ship’s crew and then some. Some of us were carried home that day. 

He joins his father and his aunt, as well as his beloved grandparents that raised him, in the afterlife, in whose mighty company he will wait until we meet again. He is survived by his wife, his son, his daughter, as well as his two sisters, Vanesa and Andrea, his mother, Edith and his stepfather, Carmelo. 

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, from 3 to 5:30pm, at which time a funeral service will commence in the parlor.  Interment will remain private.
