Joseph Biancheri Obituary

Joseph M. Biancheri, 33, of West Haven passed away unexpectedly on March 20th, 2023.  Born in Norwalk on July 27, 1989, he is the son of (late) Joseph G. Biancheri of Seymour and Josephine (Allen) Crosby of West Haven.  In addition to his beloved mother and stepfather, Joey is survived by his loving sister Nicole (Christopher) Cadrin of Milford; stepbrothers Paul Crosby and A.J. Crosby; nieces Olivia, Violet, and Ava Cadrin; nephew Christopher Cadrin; grandmother Vincenza Brunetto of Darien; longtime girlfriend Jackie Marchetto of North Branford; as well as many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to his father, Joey is preceded in death by his grandfather’s Charlie Biancheri of Florida, and Vincenzo Brunetto of Darien; as well as his Aunt, Carmela B. Tornatore of Norwalk.

Joey excelled in various sports throughout his youth, particularly football and baseball and was a huge fan of the New York Jets and the New York Yankees.  Upon graduating from West Haven High School, he embarked on a passionate career as a landscaper, most recently a dedicated worker for Shoreline Landscaping, where his work ethic, combined with the pride in which he took for each project was duly noted.  Joey enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends, whether it be around the table for Sunday dinner, or making his nieces and nephew laugh.  He will always be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, singing, dancing and making everyone around him laugh, his big bear hugs, his love for everybody around him, as well as his heart of gold - there was nothing he wouldn’t do for anyone he loved.  He will remain in the hearts and minds of those he leaves behind.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, from four to eight o’clock.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 9:30am, in St. Mary’s Church of Milford.  Attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at Church.  Interment will remain private.
