Joseph P. Coss

Joseph P. Coss, 93, of Branford, entered into rest on May 15, 2021. Born in Waterbury, Joe was a son of the late Joseph M. and Dorothy Holian Coss. In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his siblings Gertrude Rzasa, Dorothy Marie Weyer, James “Jim” Richard Coss, and a dear friend James Ruffles. He leaves his niece Lisa Blees and nephews, Vincent Weyer, John Rzasa, Steven Coss, David Coss, Edward Weyer and his close friend Reinaldo (Ray) Cotto.Joe retired from First National Bank where he worked for many years in accounting. He volunteered for over 16 years at the West Haven VAMC and proudly served in the US Navy.  An active communicant of Holy Infant Church, he volunteered tirelessly.

Visitation will take place on Friday morning, May 21 from 8:30 to 10 o’clock at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church at 10:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
