Joseph F. Regan

Joseph F. Regan of West Haven entered into rest on November 28, 2023, just 5 days after his 73rd birthday.  He was the loving husband of the late Janice Leone Regan.  As the patriarch of a proud Irish family, Joe leaves his children Paul (Trisha) Regan and Thomas (Ashley) Regan, daughter-in-law Wendy Regan, nine adored grandchildren Katelyn (Michael Stewart), Allison, Paul, Zoe, Luke, Gabriella, Alexa, Thomas and Samantha Regan, sister Marilyn (Frank) Kurpiewski, nieces, nephews and his fur buddy Cody.   His son Joseph predeceases him along with his parents Joseph E. and Helen Swiderski Regan.

Prior to his retirement from the US Postal Service, Joe was well known throughout West Haven as a mail carrier. He enjoyed planting and gardening with his grandchildren and spending time with his family.  He will be sadly missed.

The hours for visitation will take place on Sunday December 3 from 3 to 6 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.  On Monday morning, his procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. John Vianney Church of St. John XXIII Parish.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Haven Animal Shelter.
