Lamar Charles Moore

Lamar Charles Moore, age 35, of West Haven passed away after a long battle with cancer, with his mother at his side, on June 25, 2021.  He was born in New Haven, son of Shannel Moore Anaglate of West Haven and Kenneth Scott Sr. of Waterbury.  He is also survived by his siblings Jordan Lee Sr. and Andre Moore both of New Haven, Marvin Lee Jr. of Hamden and Kenneth Scott Jr. of West Haven, his aunt and uncles, Sherry Butler and Craig Moore both of Hamden, Craig Dicks of FL and Maurice Scott of SC, numerous other family members and friends.  Lamar was predeceased by his maternal grandparents William Jackson and Louise Moore and his paternal grandparents Dyann Ndiaye and Charles Scott.

Lamar graduated from West Haven High School Class of 2004.  He had a passion for writing music lyrics and also enjoyed playing video games with his friends.  Most of all, he loved his family, he was always trying to get them all together.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 9th from 9-11am, with remembrance to follow at 11am, at the West Haven Funeral Home.  Interment will be private.
