At two weeks shy of 94, Letitia passed away on August 28, 2024, with both of her children at her side. Born in New Haven, CT on September 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Sadie Moore Corriveau. She worked as a secretary at Olin Winchester until she began raising her family. After several decades as a stay-at-home mom, she returned to work in order to support her family, as a factory worker, at Harloc’s until her retirement.
Letitia, best known as Letty, adored her family. She loved family game nights, holidays, trips to the casino, playing Bingo, word search and building jigsaw puzzles. Letty is survived by her daughter Jolene, her son Tim (Marlene), grandchildren Kimberly (David) Brenneman, Joseph, Jaime and 3 great grandsons. Letty is also survived by several generations of loving nieces and nephews.
Letty was predeceased by all of her siblings: Anita, Lillian, Marie, Beverly, Bernadette, Franklin, Joseph, Edward, Robert and Raymond.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Orange Healthcare Center, the staff at Yale West Pavilion 9th floor and the staff at VITAS Healthcare for their compassionate care given at her time of need.
Services will include a visitation at West Haven Funeral Home at the Green on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 8:30 am-10:30 am. Her procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Church of St. John XXIII Parish at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
