Linda A. Collins, 81, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Boise, Idaho on January 27, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Anna Potts Mueller. A lifelong resident of Aimes Point, in the West Shore section of West Haven, Linda leaves a loving family, including 3 devoted children Raymond III (Mara), Sean (Kate), Meghan (Kevin Walsh); 7 adored grandchildren, 5 precious great grandchildren and her brother Fred (Laurie) Mueller, Jr. Predeceased by her longtime partner Bob Cowles. For many years, Linda worked for the West Haven Board of Education, pursuing her passion as a special needs paraprofessional. The matriarch and rock of her family, Linda spent hours at the beach, soaking up the sun. Dancing and shopping added to her fun. She will be deeply missed, not only by her family but by her special group of friends she maintained throughout her life.
Visitation will take place on Saturday March 1 from noon to 3 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home. Remembrances of Linda will be shared at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
