Lisa Anne Richardson, 40, of West Haven, died suddenly on December 31, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of James C. and Loretta Richardson and the treasured sister of James A. Richardson. Though her life was cut far too short, Lisa lived with curiosity and independence. She had an adventurous spirit and was always open to new places, new ideas, and new experiences. She was a thoughtful and caring listener, and always had advice, a joke, or a shoulder to cry on. Kind, warm, and genuine, Lisa made friends easily and left a lasting impression on those she met. Her work life reflected her wide range of interests. She trained and worked as a hairdresser and cosmetologist, as well as a yoga instructor, barista, bartender, and so much else. She loved art, travel, music and writing, and putting herself out into the world. In addition to her heartbroken parents and brother, Lisa leaves aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends across the country, many lives touched and made better by her presence.
Visitation for Lisa will take place on Tuesday, January 6, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home.
