Lois Lucille Pagogna Nutley, age 98, passed away peacefully at home on January 19, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born in West Haven, CT on June 19th, 1923, daughter of the late Edward and Victoria Pagogna.
Lois started her career as a comptometer operator for the New Haven Railroad, later becoming a bookkeeper for the New Haven YWCA and Milford Mental Health. She ended her career as financial director of Fellowship Place. She enjoyed playing basketball in her youth and was an avid follower of the UCONN women’s basketball team.
Lois is survived by her children, Donna (Ray) Coladarci, Thomas (Kathy)Nutley and John (Kathy) Nutley; grandchildren: Tom (Jessica) Lynskey, Shauna (Jordan) Fischer and Jaimie (John) Maiorino, Heather (Matt) Pellicone, Scott (Kathleen) Coladarci, Katie (Webb) Owens, David (Jen) Nutley, Janelle (Justin) Piskura, Mark (Che) Gannon, Michael Gannon, Alijah (Andrew) Kosarko, Dawn Moore; and 20 great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Francis Pagogna. In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by her a granddaughter, Naomie Moore and a great-granddaughter, Cayla Moore.
A talented crafter and sewer, she made numerous costumes for her grandchildren and the most beautiful Raggedy Ann dolls. Lois was a warm, loving and beautiful soul that was loved by everyone she met. She put her family first above all else and will be missed and cherished forever.
