Louis J. Anquillare

Louis J. Anquillare, 94, husband of the late Rosemary (Cipriano) Anquillare, passed away peacefully at his home in West Haven, Connecticut, on October 24, 2025. 

Louis was born on December 26, 1930, to the late Theodore and Antoinette (Buonocore) Anquillare. He lived most of his adult life in West Haven and devoted nearly 40 years to his career as an outside sales representative for the American Linen Supply Company.  Louis took great pride in his work and enjoyed servicing the needs of restaurants across both New Haven and Fairfield County.

A proud veteran, Louis served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Throughout his life, he remained deeply committed to honoring his fellow veterans through his involvement in organizations such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

Louis was predeceased by his brother Ceasar T. Anquillare and his sister Marie (Anquillare) Apuzzo. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his dedication to service, and his lasting friendships within the West Haven community.

Arrangements were entrusted to the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  In keeping with Louis' wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
