Louis D’Onofrio III, 62 of Exton, PA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 12th, 2023.
Lou was the loving husband of Kathy D’Onofrio, who was the love of her life. Lou was born on January 11th, 1961, in West Haven, Connecticut and was the son of the late Lou and Janice D’Onofrio. He was the proud father of Gina (Dylan) Kendrick and Michael D’Onofrio. Lou’s greatest joy was being “Poppie” to Lainey and Maddie Kendrick. Lou was lucky enough to be loved by his bonus family, Damian (Kelly), Justin (Johana), Melissa, Christopher (Julia), Sean (Kate) and his many grandchildren. Lou is also survived by his devoted sister Nancy D’Onofrio and many cousins whom he cherished dearly. Lou will always be remembered for his charismatic personality, caring nature and his love for life. Lou was a graduate of Notre Dame high school and a proud alumnus of Villanova University, Go Cats! The bonds and friendships he created in his time at Villanova remain strong today. Lou enjoyed a successful career at QVC but most importantly the team that he worked with for the past 13 years. Lou’s favorite way to spend his time was at the beach whether it be the Jersey shore or his home away from home in Saint Peterburg Florida. You could also find him counting his steps on his daily walks around the neighborhood. Lou will be missed by all who knew him and will remain forever in hearts.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29th, ten o’clock, at St. John Vianney Church, West Haven. Interment will take place on Friday, June 2nd, at 11:30am, in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Lou’s name to Notre Dame High School, West Haven.
