Louis E. Spoldi

Louis E. “Sonny” Spoldi, age 87, of West Haven passed away on January 6, 2021.  He was the loving husband of the late Frances Kevorkian Spoldi.  Louis was born in New Haven, son of the late Luigi and Cesira Trebbi Spoldi.  He is survived by his children, Michael (Lucille) Spoldi RET WHFD of West Haven and Steven (Laura) Spoldi of Shelton, his grandchildren, Eric (Elisabeth) Spoldi of Vernon, Christopher (Brenna Thommen) Spoldi, LT. NoHFD of West Haven, Emily (Bill Soss) Spoldi of Derby and Peter Spoldi of Rocky Hill and his sister, Sr. Mary Gemma “Louise” of NY.  He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Bergeron and Eva Spoldi.  Louis was a proud US Navy Veteran, serving during the Korean War.  Prior to his retirement, he was a maintenance supervisor for the City of West Haven.  He was a 15 year member of the 2nd Company Governors Horse Guard, a 50 year member of the Hamden Fish and Game Club, and a 25 year member of the West Haven Yacht Club.

Due to Covid 19 and for the safety of family and friends, all Funeral Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.  38105-9959.
