Lucille A. Bozelko

Lucille A. Bozelko, age 85, of Orange passed away peacefully at CT Hospice on August 28, 2023.  For 57 years, she was the loving wife of the late William J. Bozelko, Jr.  Lucille was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Catherine McHale Abt.  She is survived by her adoring children, Wendy Hoffman & her husband Peter, Wylie Bozelko (Yael Benoit), and Whitney Shanley & her husband PJ, and her cherished grandchildren, Peter Hoffman, Matthew Hoffman, Caitlyn Shanley and Colleen Shanley. In addition to her husband and parents, Lucille is predeceased by her son William J. Bozelko III and her siblings William Abt and Mary Abt.  For many years, she was an active member of the Holy Infant Women's Guild.  Lucille volunteered numerous hours with the Hospital of St. Raphael and was a past President of High Plains PTA.

The hours for visitation will be held on Saturday from 9-10:30am at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Infant Church at 11am.  Interment will follow in Orange Center Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Holy Infant Women’s Guild 450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477.
