Margaret R. Castracane

Margaret R. “Peggy” Castracane, age 74, of West Haven passed away on July 17, 2024.  For the past 50 years, she was the loving wife of Arnold C. Castracane.  Peggy was born in New Haven, daughter of the late John Breen and Margaret Fowler Breen.  She is also survived by her cherished sons, Matt Castracane and Arnie Castracane both of West Haven.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Ann DuBois and John Breen.

Peggy was a medical billing specialist, most recently working for the West Haven Veterans Administration prior to her retirement.  She graduated from the former St. Peter’s School, New Haven and recently reconnected with some of her old classmates.  Peggy was an avid gardener.  Her greatest achievement was being a wife and mother.  Family was her number one priority.

Funeral Services will be announced at a later date, with close family and friends.
