Maria Do Ceu Goncalves Dias Da Silva, age 71, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2021. Born in Cervos, Montalegre, Portugal, she was the wife of Joao Da Silva and the late Manuel G. Medeiros. Mother of Manuel D. (Venus Garcia) Medeiros Jr., Elizabeth G. Medeiros (Luis Cervantes), Dennis G. Medeiros, and Maria Do Ceu Da Silva, Esquire, grandmother of Manuel Medeiros III, Brianna Jelise Medeiros, Dallas Medeiros, Benjamin Pena Jr., Antonio Medeiros, Joan Cervantes, Jonathan Cervantes, Taylor Marie Medeiros, Skylar Rae Medeiros, and Dennis Medeiros, Jr., and great-grandmother of Samuel Shea Pena.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, from 4 – 7 PM, at West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial to 10am in St. Anthony Church. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
