Marie Emma (Vitali) Burr

Marie Vitali Burr, 89, of Orange entered into rest on January 30, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward H. Burr, Jr. Marie’s treasured family includes her son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Chrisanne Burr, granddaughter Kristen Nicole and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two sisters Nora Zandri and Josephine Humphrey and two brothers Dr. Anthony Vitale and Abraham Vitali.  A long time resident of Orange, Marie was the manager of the former Nora Zandré a prominent dress shop near the Firelight Plaza in Orange.  As a faithful communicant, she was a member of Holy Infant Church. 

Visitation will take place on Tuesday morning February 10 from 9 to 10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church at 11:00. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum, St. Lawrence Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Infant Church or to St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church’s Building Fund.
