Obituary
Marilyn Steeves Clark, 84, of West Haven entered into rest on September 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Robert Clark, Sr. and daughter of the late Borden P. and Norma Bescher Steeves, Sr. Marilyn’s family includes a daughter Marcia Acker, four sons Robert (Diane) Clark, Jr., Edward (Lorraine) Clark, Sr., James (Gina) Clark Sr. and Wayne (Laura) Clark Sr.; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; her siblings Carol Steeves Crowley (Edward) and Borden (Denny) Steeves Jr. (Carolyn).
Fun past times for Marilyn consisted of trips to the casino, playing bingo with friends and eating at the former Savin Rock Roasting Co. Twice yearly, Marilyn and Bob would travel to Maine, always spending time at their favorite lighthouse, the picturesque Cape Neddick Nubble Lighthouse. She retired from Stop & Shop, Orange where she worked in the cheese dept.
Visitation for Marilyn will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home. Private burial of her cremains will take place in Scotland, CT.
