Mary "Pat" H. Smallman

Mary “Pat” H. Smallman 96, of Madison (formerly of West Haven) passed away on December 20, 2025. She was the wife of the late William J. Smallman (Bill) for 71 years, and a loving mother to four children: Mary S. Cooper, William Smallman (Jay), Jill S. Hurlburt, and the late Michael Smallman.

In addition to her children, Pat is survived by her brother William Honan and five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Michael Smallman, and one grandchild.

Bill and Pat loved to camp in their spare time, traveling throughout the country. They loved spending summers in Massachusetts and vacationing in Pennsylvania. They were also longtime fans of UCONN women’s basketball.

Pat will be missed dearly by those she leaves behind. All funeral services will remain private.
