Maureen Rogers Weber, 68, of West Haven entered eternal rest on April 15, 2026 after a five year courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her devoted husband Bruce Weber, loving children Sarah (Marcus Tolson) and Eric (Sarah Hanke) along with her beautiful granddaughters Mariah Tolson and Josephine Hanke. Her parents John and Veronica Rogers predecease her. Maureen loved the beach and soaked up every moment of summer. You may have seen her relaxing peacefully in the water at her favorite location, Oyster River Beach in the Baybrook section of West Haven. She had a loving soul and enjoyed helping friends and family with anything they may have needed. She would find a way to fix a problem and provide sage advice to anyone who needed it. Her kind nature was a shining light in this world. Her sparkling blue eyes and vibrant energy lit up any room she entered. Her greatest loves were Bruce and her children who will miss her dearly. Her proudest moments were becoming a grandmother to her two brave granddaughters.
The family would like to thank the doctors at Smilow Cancer Hospital for the gift of time and the staff of Yale Health Home Hospice for all their care and support. The hours for visitation will take place on Monday April 27, 2026 from 5 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.
