Michael J. Quinn, 55, of West Haven, died peacefully on November 16, 2025, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Born in New Haven on May 1, 1970, a son of Warren and the late Pearl Riccitelli Quinn. He is survived by sisters Roseann Teta, Laura Recanati, and Michelle McSherry; nieces Carissa (Naveen) Jaganathan and Nicole Teta; nephews Cody Recanati, Daniel McSherry, Kevin McSherry, and Matthew McSherry; great-nieces Sareena Jaganathan and Simone Jaganathan; great nephew Christian Teta; as well as his beloved cats Linus and Leo.
A graduate of Gateway Community College, Michael worked for Philips Electronics of Wallingford as a Biomedical Engineer for many years. He was employed as a Technical Engineer with Honeywell in Northford until the time of his death. Michael enjoyed bowling, watching football, and spending time with Linus and Leo. Kind, calm, and helpful to everyone, he was happiest when sharing activities with his family. He was a wonderful role model for his nephews. Michael is deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Arrangements were entrusted to the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
