Mona Judith (Lisa) LeMaire

Mona Lisa LeMaire, 85, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven, and was the 7th daughter, the 11th of 15 children born to the late Dominic Lisa and Laura Branch. Mona is survived by her brother John Stout of PA, and her children, Robert (Amber) LeMaire of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lisa (Ron) LeMaire of West Haven, Leonard (Michelle) LeMaire of Naugatuck, William (Sheila) LeMaire of Ormond Beach, FL, as well as her 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mona was a long-time employee of the City of West Haven, retiring after 44 years. She loved reading novels, especially murder mysteries, collecting lighthouses, as well as Mona Lisa memorabilia. Her generous nature, heartfelt hugs, and humor will be greatly missed.

Due to Covid 19 and for the safety of friends and family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA, www.aspca.org, to help animals.
