Nancy (Cambino) Cavallaro

Nancy Cambino Cavallaro, 87, of Branford entered into rest on January 17, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Gene P. Cavallaro.  Nancy leaves her son Paul G. (late Lorraine), two adored grandchildren Paul G. (Julia) Cavallaro Jr. and Nicole (Jordon McAlpine) Cavallaro, a precious great grandson Paul G. Cavallaro III and her sister Antonette (Dolly) Alfonso.  In addition to her parents, Joseph and Minnie DeTulio Cambino, Nancy is predeceased by her sisters Celia Insalaco and Catherine Donahue and brothers Frank, Fred and John Cambino. Nancy remained active up until a few weeks ago, preparing traditional holiday feasts, staying in touch with friends and family on her computer, heading off to the casino and enjoying her grandchildren.   She loved to garden and took great pride in the resulting flowers and vegetables.

The hours for visitation will take place on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.  A prayer service will begin at the funeral home Friday morning at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
