Natalie Marie (Guiliano) DeRosa

Natalie Marie Guiliano DeRosa, 75, of West Haven died unexpectedly on March 22, 2023.  Natalie’s heartbroken family includes her husband Charlie, daughters Lisa DeRosa and Tina (Daniel) McCurry;3 precious grandchildren Justin, Bryce and Sophia and her sister Judith Guiliano.  She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Edith Cocco Guiliano and two sisters Jean and Joan Guiliano.

Throughout West Haven, Natalie tirelessly volunteered on many committees to improve life in our city,including the Italian Street Festival, the annual fireworks event, the Savin Rock Festival and the Carousel Committee.  In 2014, West Haven awarded her Italian-American of the year in appreciation for her unending dedication. No matter what Natalie was involved in, her family and friends were always devotedly cared for.  Known for her very special Christmas cookie trays and many other culinary delights, including her sauce recipe, Natalie showered everyone, especially her grandchildren, with love and attention.

The hours for visitation will take place on Monday March 27 from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.  On Tuesday morning the procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the XXIII Parish, at St. John Vianney Church at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Haven Fireworks Committee, c/o Sandy McCauley, 86 Richmond Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516.
