Natalie Paganini, age 79, of West Haven passed away on January 8, 2021. She was born December 28, 1941in New Haven, daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta Annatone Paganini. Natalie is survived by her daughter Marie Maher and her husband Joseph of Bethel and her sister and favorite brother-in-law Jean and Herb Johnson of West Haven. She was predeceased by her sister Marie Vanacore. In addition, she leaves behind former long-term partner Brian Smith of Milford, former husband Anthony Paolillo of West Haven, several adored nieces and nephews and grand-nieces/nephews and many other loved ones, family and friends.
Prior to her retirement she enjoyed her career as an administrative assistant (or self-titled “Right Hand Girl”) for many local companies. Her daughter called her the Gregarious Hermit. The lovely Natalie was the life of every party (for the hour she stayed!), but was most content at home curled up with a book and a cat.
She wanted to be remembered fondly and be kept alive by retelling stories of the good times. She left behind the excellent advice to find some joy in every day. She will be missed.
At this time, all Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the West Haven Animal Shelter.
