Noemia (de Sousa) Medeiros

Noėmia Medeiros, 91, of New Haven passed away on September 1, 2025. She was the wife of the late Josė Gonçalves Medeiros. Noėmia leaves three beloved daughters: Maria Leonor Medeiros, Annabella Medeiros Cardoso, and Maria de Fatima Kosoy; sons in law Victor Cardoso and Mark Kosoy; five loving grandchildren, Desirėe Medeiros Afonso, Joseph Medeiros Cardoso and his wife Sandra Diaz Cardoso, Michael Medeiros Afonso, Victoria Medeiros Cardoso, Sarah Medeiros Kosoy; and two precious great grandchildren, Sophia Diaz Cardoso and Lucas Diaz Cardoso, with a third on the way.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 3 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home. On Monday morning, the procession will leave the funeral home at 10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Woodbridge at 10:30. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
