Pamela Pitcher, 73, wife of Robert W. Pitcher, entered into rest on November 24, 2025. In addition to her husband, Bob, of 48 years, Pam leaves her sister Kathleen Adams, brother-in-law and sister-in-law David & Judith Pitcher, nieces and nephews Stacey Pitcher, Mike (Kristen) Dalton and Mark (Nikki) Dalton, great nieces Amie, Sasha and Chloe Dalton and Jessica (Aaron) Newman, great-great nieces and nephews, and her fur baby Emma.
Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Pammy was a daughter of the late James M. Taylor and Dorothy Green Taylor Riedlinger and stepdaughter of the late Louis C. Riedlinger. A graduate of Wilbur Cross High School, Pam went on to successfully run her own graphic design and collectibles businesses. Pam also took great pride in her work as a research assistant for the University of Pennsylvania and for Yale University and providing information and support to others navigating life with an ostomy. In her free time, Pam looked forward to Friday nights spent with her “Sisterhood,” traveling to Cape Cod, and doll collecting.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. On Wednesday December 3 visitation will take place between 4pm and 6pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A prayer service will commence at 5:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), aspca.org.
