Pasquale "Pat" A. Giovine

Pasquale A. Giovine, age 91, passed away peacefully, with his loving wife by his side on September 25, 2021.  Born in New Haven, Pat is the son of the late Salvatore & Antonetta Conforti Giovine. Pat was a proud Army veteran, serving in Okinawa, Japan, during WWII.

In addition to his wife Karen Madsen Giovine, Pat is survived by his 4 beloved daughters, Cynthia (Jack) Laudana of Florida, Karen Buccini of Wallingford, Trisha (Robert) Hodgkin of CT, Dayna (Richard) Penny of MA, step-children Leigh Fontana of CT and Jasen Fontana of CA, and many adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Pat was a member of the VFW and the Elks Club. He was a very friendly, caring and helpful man, and was welcomed everywhere he went. He brought wonderful memories to all who knew him.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 10, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, at West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A prayer service will be held at 3:30. All other services are private.
