Patricia (Himes) Camputaro

Patricia Himes Camputaro, 80, of Madison, formerly of West Haven, entered into rest on May 23, 2023.  She was the beloved wife of Dominic Camputaro.  In addition to her husband, Patty leaves her children, Elaine (Roy) Howard, Joseph (Kathleen) Camputaro, Christine (Ken) Tangredi and stepdaughter Deanna Camputaro, 7 adored grandchildren, 2 precious great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her sister Jeryl Ann Himes, brothers Eddie, Jon and Jimmy Himes. 

She retired from the Shoreline Federal Credit Union where she was employed for several years as a credit union teller. Patty’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her husband who she loved unconditionally and her family. She was a caregiver her entire life. Taking care of her parents, children, grandchildren, and everyone’s babies.  Oh, how she loved those babies. Patty enjoyed the simple things in life, especially talking on the telephone with her friends she had known since grade school.  Occasionally, she enjoyed having an ice-cold beer with whoever would join her.  Patty was a beautiful, witty, and caring person that will be missed by all who knew her.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab in Guilford for caring for her while she was there.

Visitation will take place on Friday May 26 from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.  On Saturday morning her procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Lawrence Church at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
