Patty Berg Christoforo, 75, entered into rest on June 1, 2026, after a very brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael W. Christoforo. A daughter of the late William J. and Dorothy Rhodes Berg, Jr., Patty was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 18, 1950.
Patty was surrounded by the love of her family, including daughter Stephanie C. (Keith) Larsen, with whom she lived, and her son Michael W. (Mary-Katherine) Christoforo. She delighted in spending time with her four grandchildren, Matthew and Meg Christoforo and Jack and Kaelin Larsen.
She was predeceased by her brother Billy Berg and will be sadly missed by her sisters Susie (Dobie) Gillis and Kathy (Gary Ballingall) Sosnoski; her nieces and nephews Casey (Jeremy) Sink, Amy (Josh) Nixon, Kevin and Kim Vece; great nieces and nephews Hayden, Harper, Cooper and Austin; and her dearest and best friend Joan (JP) Lyke.
Our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend will remain in our hearts and will be forever missed.
In accordance with Patty’s wishes, there are no services.
Should friends desire, donations may be made to be made to Halfway Home Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 712, North Haven, CT 06473 halfwayhomeonline@yahoo.com. (not for profit, animal rescue).
