Philip Fioretti III, 61, of Branford, died on July 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in New Haven on February 22, 1964, the son of the late Philip R. Fioretti and Marilyn Reynolds. Philip is survived by his loving children Sophia Annabella Fioretti and Philip Fioretti IV; sister Lisa Fioretti (Kelly) Stockwell; and niece Lily Fioretti Stockwell. He was preceded in death by his parents.
During the span of his career, Philip’s favorite role was that of an Archive Librarian for A&E Television. Once he retired, Philip loved his part time job assisting his elderly friends with driving and errands.
Known for his sharp sense of humor, Philip was passionate about current events and was an avid TV news watcher. He had a love of Italian food, New Haven pizza and the Dallas Cowboys.
Arrangements were entrusted to West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, 662 Savin Avenue, West Haven, CT. Calling hours will be held on the morning of Monday, July 28, 2025, from 10 o’clock until 12 noon, at which time a prayer service will commence in the funeral parlor. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Avenue, West Haven, CT.
