Ralph Frank Ceritto

Ralph Frank Ceritto, 92, of west Haven entered into rest on January 3, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Pasqualena (Lena) Romano Ceritto.  Father of Dolores (Vincent DiVerniero) Ceritto and Ralph J. (Sophie Stoyak) Ceritto.  Brother of Louisa Russo.  Grandfather of Vincent DiVerniero, Laura & Daniel Ceritto., Ralph McCormick, Lisa Marie Rotter and great grandfather of 3.

Ralph served in the Army in the Korean War and received the Service Medal and the UN Service Medal.  He was a lifelong resident of West Haven and loved to spend time at the beach.  He enjoyed tending to his garden of fruits and vegetables and for a time, he owned his own landscaping company.  As a truck driver, he worked for the West Haven VA, Sears and Papole Construction. 

The hours for visitation will take place on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.  On Friday morning the procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of St. Louis, St. John XXIII at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
