Robert "Bosco" Joseph Marinoff Sr.

Robert J. Marinoff, Sr., 81, known to most as “Bosco”, entered into rest on June 27, 2024.  He was the cherished husband of Cindy Ludington Marinoff.  In addition to his wife Cindy, Bosco leaves 6 children Diane (the late Gary) Pitcher, Wendy & Milton Villalta, Dawn & Donald Sherwood, Robert Jr. & Shannon Marinoff, Robin & Michael Pascale, Greg & Patti-Ann Marinoff; his sister Sharon (Jim)Siegmund-Raffone, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his beloved parents Irving and Elberta Wilber Marinoff, his brother Stuart Marinoff and his fur baby Nana.

Bosco retired from the US Postal Service after 25 years of service where he worked as an ET (electronic technician). Bob had so many hobbies including building cars and airplane engines, skills he taught both his sons.  Quite the ham radio enthusiast, he belonged to the Meriden Ham Radio Club.  He enjoyed camping and watching NASCAR, woodworking and watching YouTube videos.  He even travelled to Pennsylvania to drop in to visit the Veggies boys which is his favorite farming you-tubers.

Visitation will take place on Monday July 1, 2024, at the West Haven Funeral Home from noon to three pm.  There are no other services at this time.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Branford Elks Scholarship Fund, Post 1939, where Bosco was a lifelong member.
