Rose Marie DeChello

Rose Marie DeChello, 75, a lifelong resident of West Haven, entered into rest on March 29.2025.  She is survived by her son Christopher (Carolyn) DeChello, granddaughter Chrysanthemum and siblings Dolores DeChello, George DeChello, Jane Martin and Patricia Aveni, many nieces, nephews and her companion Frank Dawson.  A daughter of the late John and Jennie Colicchio DeChello, she is also predeceased by siblings Mary Giannotti, Eleanor Squeglia, Victoria Innamorato, Barbara Godlewski, Louis DeChello and John DeChello.

For many years, Rose worked at Stop and Shop as an office clerk and later at Walgreen’s pharmacy as a cashier. Crafting hand sewn items was a favorite hobby.

Rose’s family would like to thank the staff at Milford Health and Rehab for the excellent and compassion care given to her during her stay there. Visitation will take place on Friday morning April 4 from 9 to 11 am at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green.  Prayers will begin at 11 am followed by interment of cremains in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
