Salvatore Luzzi Obituary

Salvatore F. Luzzi, 84, of West Haven passed away on December 7, 2023.  He was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth Curran Luzzi.  Salvatore was born in New Haven, a son of the late Salvatore and Lena Piccirillo Luzzi.  He is survived by his children, Monica (Evelyn) Keith-Luzzi of Woodbridge, Dr. Anthony Luzzi of PA, Michael Luzzi of East Haven, Sal (Beth) Triumfo of Wallingford, his grandchildren, Kristina (Joe) De La Cruz and Elijah Triumfo, and his great grandchildren, Isis, Robyn and Anthony Bosland.  Sal is also survived by his brother-in-law Otto (Debra) Curran of Wallingford and his nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law John and Jean Luzzi and daughter-in-law Irene Luzzi.

Sal proudly served his country in the US Army.  He was a polisher for Sargent Manufacturing for 35 years, prior to retirement.  Sal was a life member of the Elm City Gun Club.  He enjoyed being outdoors, either hunting or fishing, and found joy working on his antique 1950 Mercury.

The hours for visitation will be held on Friday December 15th from 4-7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
