Sarah Marion Tobin

Sarah “Marion” Creegan Tobin, age 92, of West Haven passed away peacefully on October 15, 2019 at Whispering Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  She was the loving wife of the late Eugene Tobin.  Marion was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Edward and Sarah Russell Creegan.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Tobin and his spouse Catherine of Hamburg, NY., Edward “Skip” Tobin and his spouse Carol of Warwick, RI.,  Brian Tobin and his spouse Natalie of Hamden, CT.  and her daughter Patricia Cook of  West Haven, CT.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.  Her daughter Barbara Tobin, son in law Bruce Cook, and siblings Edward, Walter, William and Martin Creegan predeceased Marion.  Prior to her retirement, Marion was a librarian at Yale Sterling Memorial Library.

All funeral services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
