Shannon McNeil

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved, Shannon Danielle McNeil. Shannon physically left this earth on January 19th, 2021, however, her beautiful spirit will live on forever in our hearts. Shannon was known for her free spirited nature and a kindness that was contagious, touching the lives of everyone she met. Shannon’s son, Logan, was the light and love of her life. Shannon reminded us all, to marvel in all of the beauty life has to offer. To enjoy every butterfly, always look in wonderment at the moon and stars, admire every rainbow and project all of the beautiful colors into the world she lived in. Shannon leaves behind her mother Anne Ciccarelli McNeil, her father and his wife, Bill and Deirdre McNeil, her brother Billy and his fiancé Madeline Casello, her son Logan David Ross and Logan’s father Chris Ross, uncles Michael Ciccarelli and Douglas F. McNeil, aunts Linda McNeil Tantawi and Eileen Garrett, and step-siblings Kayleigh Mann and Keenan Novi. Shannon was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Philip and Marie Ciccarelli and her paternal grandparents William J and Eileen Hatfield McNeil.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 24th from 3 to 6 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Speaks.
