Sharon Elizabeth Antell

Sharon Elizabeth Antell, 78, of West Haven, entered into rest on April 20, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Beloved by all, Sharon leaves her children Shawn (Maria Santangelo) Longyear and Shannon (Scott) Van Steenburgh; siblings Tambie Antell, Sandy Barker and Sally Phlipot and many nieces and nephews. Born in Manassas, Virginia, Sharon was a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Blakemore Antell.

Prior to retirement, Sharon worked as a customer service representative for AT&T and for Sonitrol Alarm.  Devoted to her family and friends, Sharon’s role was as a mother figure, due to her caring nature and generous spirit.  As an avid shopper, she derived great joy in giving and creating happiness which left a lasting impression on anyone she came in contact with.  Trips back to Virginia allowed her to spend time with her family and friends from her youth.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation in Sharon's name can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, www.parkinson.org. 

Visitation will take place on Monday April 28 from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. There are no other services at this time.
