Susan Margaret Tischer

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and friend, Susan Margaret Tischer, age 74, of West Haven, entered into eternal rest on September 19, 2022.  For 56 years, she was the loving and devoted wife of Bruce E. Tischer.  Susan was born in White Plains, NY daughter of the late Thomas Walsh and Emma C. Carey.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her adoring daughter Tammi Pazsak and her husband Brian, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Brandon & Nicholas Tischer, Jagger, Shayna, Payton and Madyson Pazsak. Susan was predeceased by her son, Bruce H. Tischer and her brother Robert Walsh.

Prior to her retirement, Susan enjoyed her career in sales management.  Most recently she worked for Munson’s Chocolate.

Susan will forever be remembered for her unrelenting humor and feisty personality, her amazing cooking and hosting of family gatherings, her unwavering ability to endure and overcome life’s obstacles and her genuine love of family.     

“Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end: it simply means “I’ll miss you, ”until we meet again” – unknown.

The hours for visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  A funeral service will be held on Monday morning at the funeral home at 10am.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
