Sylvia Farrell

Sylvia Farrell, 89, of West Haven entered into rest on September 26, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Farrell.  Mother of Ray (Katie) Farrell and proud grandmother of 5, great grandmother of 3,  Cleo, her fur baby and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Sylvia was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Josephine Varinelli Radasso, daughter Kathleen Farrell and sister Esther Storlazzi. Sylvia held many jobs during her lifetime.  She was a bookkeeper for various companies in the New Haven area and a cook at Milford Hospital.  Throughout the neighborhood, while her children were growing up, her home served as the meeting place for the all the kids who she lovingly acted as the “surrogate” mom.

Visitation will take place on Thursday September 29 from 4 to 6:45 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.  A prayer service will begin at 6:45. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CT. Hospice.
