Sylvia Q. (Quinton) Procita

Sylvia Procita, 92, of West Haven, died on September 13, 2025. Born in Camden, New Jersey on March 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Thomas and Fannie (Kuzniasz) Quinton. Survived by her loving children Robert J.(Evelyn) Procita of North Carolina, Paula (Stephen) Brown, and Dorothy Wands, both of Connecticut; grandchildren Timothy (Rebecca) Procita of Virginia, Holly Procita of North Carolina, Joseph (April) Procita of North Carolina, Amanda (Jeremy) Kitlas of Connecticut, Felicia (Matthew) Reed of Connecticut, Courtney Wands of Maryland, and Alexander Wands of Washington; as well as 13 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 50 years, Robert Procita.

Sylvia spent a large portion of her career working at her family’s automobile dealership.  Sylvia enjoyed the simple things in life, and her greatest joy was that of spending time with her beloved family.   She will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Arrangements were entrusted to West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. All services will be private at this time.
