Teresa (Girasuolo) Hill

Teresa Girasuolo Hill, 97, of West Haven entered into rest on March 22, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Herbert C. Hill Sr. Teresa was blessed with a large and loving family whom have been the focus of her entire life.  She leaves her children Herbie and Eileen Hill, Maria Hill and Richard Hill; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  The last of 15 children, Teresa was a daughter of Rocco and Carmella Mauriello Girasuolo.  In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by John, Julius, Caroline Tomasselli, Angelo, Mary DeRose, William, Stella Anaclerio, Annette Milone, Jenny Martino, Armand, Rocco, Carmella Corso, Anthony and Samuel.

Teresa supported her parents, siblings and the family she created with her late husband by making sure everything was taken care of at home.  Throughout her life, family was everything and family came first. Her home, always welcoming and filled with joy, became the scene for family holidays and gatherings for her children and especially her adored grand and great grandchildren.

On Tuesday March 28 all are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9 o’clock.  The procession will leave at 9:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Lawrence Church at 10am.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.  To leave an online condolence for the Hill family, please visit our website www.westhavenfuneral.com.
