Theresa A. Pesticci

Theresa A. Pesticci, age 68 of West Haven passed away with her family by her side on September 8, 2023. She was born in New Haven, daughter of the late John and Marie Aurora Sr. Theresa is survived by her loving family, her children, Amanda Cook and her husband Shawn of West Haven, Pat Pesticci of Meriden, and Deanna Pesticci of West Haven, grandchildren Tyler Macholl, Christopher Pesticci, Sienna Pesticci, Brianna Cook, and Shane Richardson, and siblings, James Aurora of Cheshire, Rosemarie Gomez of West Haven, and Patricia Eckman of Meriden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her companion, of 18 years, Benjamin Fontana. In addition to her parents, Theresa is also predeceased by her husband Jim Pesticci, her son James Pesticci, her brother John D. Aurora, and her nephew James Aurora Jr. 

Theresa worked as a waitress at Jerri's Luncheonette. Over the years she has developed a strong and lasting relationship with her customers. Theresa, along with Ben and her kids, loved trips to the casino, especially Foxwoods. She also enjoyed taking cruises. Theresa was an avid New York Yankees fan and cherished her time with her family. 

Theresa loved her family deeply, she has one of the best souls around and will never be forgotten.

The hours of visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at the West Haven Funeral home at the Green. The funeral service will be held on Friday morning at the funeral home at 11 am, interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
