In addition to his parents, Vincent was predeceased by his eldest grandson Brian Meyer, sister Helen Davey (who did an excellent job keeping him in line), and brothers Alfred, Arthur, and Robert Nitido.

A veteran of the US Navy, he graduated UNH as a Mechanical Engineer, retired as a Program Director after 35 years from Textron/Avco Lycoming.  Former coach and past president of West Haven League; former coach of West Haven Midget Football, Biddy Basketball and Center Allingtown Basketball Leagues.
