Virginia A. “Ginny” Zotti, 70, of West Haven, beloved wife of David A. Zotti, went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2026.
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Ginny was a lifelong resident of West Haven. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward F. and Vera M. Marshall.
In addition to her devoted husband, David, Ginny leaves behind her loving sons, Michael (Kelly) Zotti and David (Ashley) Zotti. She was a proud and adoring grandmother, lovingly known as “Mimi,” to Jackson, Ryan, Madelyn, and Emilia, who were the light of her life.
She is also survived by her sisters, Laura Marshall and Mary Marshall; her sisters-in-law, Debra Zotti, Emma Nailor, and Louise Rajewski; her aunts, Lucy Marshall and Kathi Dest; her cousins, Michael (Kelly) Matthews, Les (Irene) Bankewitz, Lynn Lester, and Jeffrey Brainard; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Ginny was kind, loving, and caring throughout her life. She found great joy in cooking, gardening, and hosting gatherings for family and friends. Some of her happiest moments were spent sitting on the back deck with her beloved Dave, watching the birds and backyard wildlife, or relaxing together by the fire. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and deep love for her family and friends will be remembered always.
Family and friends may call at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, 662 Savin Avenue, West Haven, on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11 am. A funeral service will begin at 11 am in the funeral parlor. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
