William Robert Byron

William Robert Byron, age 89, of Florida, formerly of West Haven, passed away on March 22, 2021.  He was the loving husband of the late Carol Coyle Byron.  Bill was born in Bridgeport, son of the late William and Margaret O’Connel Byron.  He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Linane and her husband Bill of FL, his son William Byron Jr and wife Rose of West Haven, his six grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, his siblings Margaret Lewis of Wilton and John Bryon of FL, as well as his companion Gertrude MacLeman. He was predeceased by his son Daniel Byron, his brother Robert Byron and one grandson.  Bill was a Lineman Supervisor for United Illuminating, prior to his retirement. He was also a proud US Navy Veteran, serving aboard the USS Franklin D Roosevelt.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 12th, from 9-10:30am at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A funeral service will commence at 10:30 at the funeral home.  Interment, with military honors, will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
