William E. Pastore Sr.

William E. Pastore Sr. of West Haven, died on November 13, 2023, his 85th birthday. A son of the late Ernest and Marion (Casella) Pastore. Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Philomena “Phyllis” (Marchitto) Pastore; his loving children Marion (Peter) Sparago of Cheshire, Laura Dionne of West Haven, and son William “Bill” Pastore Jr. of West Haven; as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his sister Eleanor Cipolli and brothers Ralph, Ernest, and Robert Pastore.  

Prior to his retirement, William was an auction coordinator for Thomas Industries.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, most especially with his grandchildren.  He loved tinkering about and working with his hands on various projects, occasional trips to the casino, and spending time with his dog, Buddy.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 16 from five to seven o’clock.  His funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17 at 10:30am in the funeral parlor.
